President Zelensky described his meeting with President Erdoğan as “very productive and comprehensive.” The talks focused on defense cooperation, joint production projects, and coordination aimed at more effective protection of human life. He emphasized that all diplomatic efforts are directed toward achieving an honorable peace and security.

Zelensky stated that the two countries share the same vision regarding peace and security, adding that coordination with all partners will continue. It was also noted that efforts are ongoing to secure the return of Ukrainian POWs, civilians held in Russia, and abducted children before the end of the year.

The Ukrainian President highlighted Türkiye’s key role, particularly in the naval component of the Volunteer Coalition, stating that security in the Black Sea can only be achieved together with Türkiye. Zelensky thanked Türkiye and especially Erdoğan for their support, expressing confidence in bilateral trust and the strength of Turkish diplomacy.
