Zelensky: The attack in Lviv was organized by Russia
Kyiv, 22 February (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the explosions in the city of Lviv, which resulted in the death of a police officer, were a terrorist act organized by Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the “double-tap” explosions in Lviv that targeted emergency response teams.
Sharing details and the toll of the incident, Zelensky said, “A brutal and savage terrorist act is under investigation in Lviv. There were two explosions, and the second occurred after emergency teams arrived at the scene. Twenty-five people were injured. Sadly, a 23-year-old police officer lost his life. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones.”
Providing information about the course of the investigation, Zelensky stated, “Many facts have already been established. The perpetrators were recruited via Telegram. The attack was organized by Russia.”
Zelensky added, “Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police and the Security Service will provide further details to the public.”
