Albares introduced the Isabel Oyarzabal Award
Madrid, September 5 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, announced that the Oyarzabal Award honors Spain’s first female ambassador and women who have played a role in international public service.
Presenting the Isabel Oyarzabal Award, Minister Albares stated that the prize honors the memory of Spain’s first female ambassador, Isabel Oyarzabal, and all women who dedicated their lives to international public service and the defense of human rights.
Albares emphasized that the award also represents the commitment of Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC) to the feminist transformation of society.
