Szijjarto: Cooperation has brought significant results to Hungary
Budapest, September 5 (Hibya) – Hungarian Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto stated that cooperation with Azerbaijan has brought significant results to Hungary in the fields of energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and construction.
Minister Szijjarto emphasized that 15 years ago, when they began to build a partnership with Azerbaijan based on mutual respect and interests, some European leaders mocked them.
He added that today those same leaders are lining up in Baku to take pictures with the president, saying:
“This cooperation has brought Hungary significant results in the fields of energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and construction. MOL Group and MVM now own shares in Azerbaijan's largest oil and gas fields and are transforming from ordinary buyers into energy producers in the international market.”
Szijjarto announced that today in Budapest, they held the 11th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation with Azerbaijan.
