Zelensky thanks Sweden
Uzhhorod, September 5 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his meeting with Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard and thanked Sweden for its support.
President Zelensky stated that today in Uzhhorod he met with Swedish Foreign Minister Stenergard and discussed joint defense projects and the needs of the soldiers.
Zelensky noted that the discussions covered continued aid to Ukraine, new defense packages, the PURL initiative, protection of Ukraine’s skies, investment in drone production, and joint defense projects.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the people and government of Sweden for the support they have provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
