EP: Russia’s violations and hybrid attacks pose a threat to Europe’s security
Brussels, October 10 (Hibya) – European Parliament (EP) officials stated that Russia’s actions pose a serious threat to Europe’s security and infrastructure, calling for joint defense between the European Union (EU) and NATO. The Parliament emphasized the need to maintain sanctions against Russia and to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine.
The European Parliament declared that Russia’s violations of international law and hybrid warfare tactics represent a serious threat to Europe’s security and infrastructure.
The statement read: “Russia’s violations and hybrid warfare activities are a threat to Europe’s security and infrastructure. The European Parliament calls for strengthening EU–NATO defense, continuing sanctions against Russia, developing a European Defense Union, and enhancing cooperation with Ukraine.”
