Albares: We will continue our efforts to keep Sudan on Europe’s agenda
Madrid, August 14 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, announced that they will continue their efforts to keep Sudan on Europe’s agenda and that 5 million euros have been allocated.
Albares stressed that Spain will continue to contribute to alleviating the dire humanitarian situation in Sudan.
He stated that since the beginning of the current phase of the conflict, 5 million euros have been allocated, supported by the EU budget contribution, and added: “We will continue our efforts to keep Sudan on Europe’s agenda.”
