Ukrainian President Zelensky met with Argentine President Javier Milei.

Providing an update on recent contacts with partners, Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s position that it needs a just peace and reliable security guarantees, stating: “Javier is ready to make a personal effort in this direction. Thank you!”

Zelensky also noted that Argentina’s economic achievements, particularly in liberalization and combating inflation, were discussed: “I congratulated Javier on these important results. Ukraine is interested in studying this experience, and we discussed whether there is an opportunity to do so.”

He added that an agreement was reached to resume the format of political consultations between the foreign ministries: “Our teams will work actively to make this happen as soon as possible. We agreed on our next contacts, and I will be glad to see Javier in Ukraine.”
