Sybiha stated that during his conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, they discussed the ongoing international diplomatic efforts to achieve a just peace.

Emphasizing that Canada reaffirmed its support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, Sybiha said: "We agreed on the importance of increasing political and sanctions pressure on Russia, using all available leverage to compel it to accept a ceasefire and start a genuine peace process."

He underlined the necessity of fully utilizing Russia's frozen assets to ensure the aggressor pays the price of the war, adding: "Canada's participation in the Coalition of the Willing is a valuable contribution to strengthening Ukraine's resilience and advancing international efforts to secure a lasting peace."
