Belgium backs inclusive political dialogue in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Brussels, July 23 (Hibya) - Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot stated that the planned inclusive political dialogue in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is important for the country's unity and stability.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot commented on the inclusive political dialogue process announced by the authorities and religious communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Prevot said the initiative was encouraging for national unity and social cohesion in the face of the significant challenges confronting the country.
Noting that Belgium has long supported this process, Prevot called on all stakeholders to act with a sense of responsibility.
He emphasized that all parties should contribute to the process in good faith, in line with the principles of peace, stability, and democracy.
