Carney emphasizes equality and rights
Ottawa, May 17 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney made a statement on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
Stating that everyone should be able to live safely and equally, Carney said in his statement that “everyone’s right to live freely and securely, regardless of their identity, is a fundamental right.”
Carney also emphasized that the fight against discrimination will continue and that protecting human dignity remains a priority.
