China’s 2024 GDP data revised
Beijing, December 26 (Hibya) – China’s National Bureau of Statistics announced that the country’s gross domestic product for 2024 has been updated to 134.8 trillion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 5 percent at constant prices.
According to a report by CCTV, the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS) stated that, in line with final calculations, the gross domestic product (GDP) data for 2024 were revised to 134 trillion 806.6 billion yuan. Based on calculations at constant prices, the country’s economy grew by 5 percent year on year.
The statement noted that this figure represents a decrease of 101.8 billion yuan, or approximately 14.5 billion U.S. dollars, compared to the preliminary estimate released earlier in the year.
