Coordination meeting in Syria on voluntary return of Syrian refugees
Damascus, September 8 (Hibya) – Nehle Osman, Director of the Migrants and Refugees Department at Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met with Ash Carl, Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Syria.

The meeting addressed efforts to strengthen coordination concerning Syrian refugees and to ensure their voluntary return.
The parties discussed issues related to improving coordination to support the voluntary return process of Syrian refugees and to ensure that these returns take place safely.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of national efforts to prepare suitable conditions for Syrian refugees to return to their country.
