Costa: Peace is not cheap, its value is immeasurable
Strasbourg, December 18 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa stressed that support for Ukraine will continue resolutely following Russia’s attacks.
European Council President Costa said, “Peace is not cheap. Its value is immeasurable. Since the beginning of Russia’s aggression, the Ukrainian people have been paying the heaviest price for their freedom. Europe remains determined to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
Costa added that he was pleased to once again welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the European Council meeting, saying, “Mr. President Zelensky, welcome back to the European Council.”
