Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

During the call, the Bahraini minister congratulated Pakistan on the “Islamabad Understanding,” which was reported to have been signed between the United States and Iran through Pakistan’s mediation, and expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s constructive role in the process.

The two sides reportedly shared their expectation that the understanding would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.

They also reaffirmed the strong fraternal relations between Pakistan and Bahrain and stressed the importance of maintaining high-level contacts between the two countries.
