Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to the report, the governments of Denmark and Greenland have contacted the U.S. Department of State to set up a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Greenland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Research, Vivian Motzfeldt, says the meeting would take place between Rubio, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and herself.

Motzfeldt said the meeting will focus on “important U.S. statements regarding Greenland”.

On Sunday, the U.S. President said that the U.S. “needs” Greenland, and on Tuesday evening the White House issued a statement saying the Trump administration is discussing options for obtaining Greenland and that “using the U.S. military is always an option”. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

*The Economist* reported that one of the options under consideration is purchasing Greenland from Denmark, while another is concluding a free association agreement with the island.

The Danish Foreign Ministry also held an emergency meeting to discuss relations with the U.S., which quickly drew criticism from Greenland.

No representatives from the Greenland government attended the emergency meeting; the head of Greenland’s Foreign and Security Policy Committee called that a disappointment.
