Qatar's Minister of International Cooperation Al Misnad meets with Cyprus' First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides
Nicosia, January 7 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met in Cyprus with "First Lady" Philippa Karsera Christodoulides and Foreign Minister Dr. Constantinos Kombos to discuss bilateral cooperation and areas of mutual interest.
Qatar’s Minister of International Cooperation Al Misnad met on January 7, 2026, in Nicosia with Cyprus' "First Lady" Philippa Karsera Christodoulides. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation between the two countries, focusing on supporting and strengthening ties in education and cultural diplomacy. The meeting also addressed support for unaccompanied minors and other areas of mutual interest.
On the same day, Minister Al Misnad met with Cyprus' Foreign Minister Dr. Kombos. The meeting focused on ways to support and enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of humanitarian aid and development. Coordination possibilities were also explored in shared interest topics such as Syria, Gaza Strip, and Ukraine.
