Dutch Prime Minister Dick Shoff held his first official phone conversation this morning with the new President of the Republic of Korea, Jaemyung Lee.

Shoff said, “As countries that often work together on the world stage, we aim to further strengthen our strong partnership, especially in the fields of security, trade, the semiconductor industry, and offshore wind energy.”

The conversation also addressed North Korea’s military cooperation in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Shoff and Lee emphasized the importance of mutual information sharing and cooperation to maintain regional security.
