Fletcher: We are working to better serve those in need
Geneva, 27 November (Hibya) – UN Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher made a statement in Geneva on humanitarian plans for Gaza and Sudan.
Fletcher emphasized that partnerships with governments are essential to strengthening humanitarian efforts.
“Governments play an important role in shaping the humanitarian reset to make our work as effective and efficient as possible,” he said.
Noting that they had a productive discussion in Geneva on humanitarian plans for Gaza and Sudan, Fletcher added, “We had an excellent conversation about the support we need and how we can better serve millions of people in need.”
