German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that he met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
Merz stated that he thanked him for his mediation efforts to help end the war in Gaza, adding, “Germany will work together with Egypt to implement the peace plan and rebuild Gaza.”
