Avaza, August 5 (Hibya) - The State of Qatar participated in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in Avaza, Turkmenistan, from August 5 to 8.
The State of Qatar participated in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in Avaza, Turkmenistan, from August 5 to 8.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Minister of State for Intergovernmental Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, and included representatives from several national institutions.
The conference aimed to monitor the implementation of the Avaza Programme of Action (2024–2034), which addresses topics such as infrastructure development, trade facilitation, investment promotion, and the strengthening of institutional and digital capacities to better integrate these countries into the global economy.
