Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine fully supports the United States' immediate ceasefire proposal.

Zelensky noted that they had tried many different formats to stop the war and end the deaths, adding: "We discussed and proposed a silence in the skies with Russia, a halt to missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure, especially on the energy sector. All of these were violated by Russia, in an extremely cynical way. Not a single day passed without terrorist acts against civilians. Not a single day on the frontline were we given real, complete silence."
