Dublin, August 5 (Hibya) – Irish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence Simon Harris held a phone call with the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.

Harris stated that they discussed the kidnapping in Haiti of Gena Heraty, her colleagues and a three-year-old child. “I am grateful for the EU’s assistance and solidarity. My team will remain in close contact with the EU Delegation Office in Haiti,” he said.
