Iran’s Chief of General Staff and Defense Minister killed
Tehran, March 1 (Hibya) – Iran announced that Chief of General Staff Abdurrahim Mousavi and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh were killed in the attacks.
Iranian state media confirmed that senior Iranian military officials were killed in the attacks carried out by the United States and Israel.
According to the Tasnim news agency, the head of the armed forces, Lieutenant General Abdurrahim Mousavi, lost his life in the attacks.
The report also stated that Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh was killed in the strikes.
Earlier, it had been announced that the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Mohammad Pakpour, and Iran’s Defense Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani had also lost their lives.
