Radman described Bosnia and Herzegovina’s decision on independence as an expression of the democratic will of its constituent peoples and citizens.

Stating that, with the support of Croatia’s first President Franjo Tuđman, Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina voted in favor of independence and made a decisive contribution to the success of the referendum, Radman said: “The Republic of Croatia continues today to strongly support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic path and its efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and the rule of law.”

Radman also emphasized the importance of preserving the equality of the three constituent peoples — Croats, Bosniaks and Serbs — and all citizens within the framework of the Dayton-Paris Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
