Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Jerusalem with Casey Wasserman, Chairman of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games Organizing Committee.

Netanyahu congratulated Wasserman for his visit to Israel and for his clear support for the Israeli people, stating: “In these days, when incitement and lies against our country are widespread, such support is not something to be taken lightly.”

Netanyahu referred to Wasserman’s words: “During the meeting he told me something I will never forget: Your leadership over the past two years makes me proud to be Jewish.”

Netanyahu said that these words deeply moved him, adding: “Such things strengthen my spirit and the spirit of the people of Israel.”
