Tajani meets India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Goyal
Mumbai, December 11 (Hibya) – Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani met with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani, together with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Goyal, inaugurated this year’s 3rd Entrepreneurship Forum in Mumbai, India’s economic and financial hub.
Tajani stated, “There are currently 700 Italian companies operating in India.”
Speaking about bilateral relations, Tajani said, “We want to welcome more investment, create synergies between companies, and facilitate trade by establishing an innovation hub in India; this will further strengthen our ecosystems. Our shared goal is to reach a trade volume of 20 billion euros by 2029.”
