Italian Prime Minister Meloni: We are on the right path
Rome, September 12 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that they are on the right path and will continue along it, adding: “In the end, we will build an Italy where everyone has equal opportunities.”
Meloni said they were accused of wanting to divide Italy, but in fact, they chose to believe in the energy, talent, and strength of the South.
She stressed that they had the courage to say “enough” to the period of prosperity that fueled the idea that Southern Italy was doomed to fall behind.
“We have invested in infrastructure, employment, and merit. We are working to ensure that the South can compete on equal terms and finally show its true value. ISTAT data confirmed today that Southern Italy has reached its highest employment level since 2004.”
Meloni said: “We are on the right path and we will continue to move forward on it. In the end, we will build an Italy where everyone has equal opportunities.”
