Lahbib: Israel must urgently allow aid to enter
Brussels, December 18 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that around 795,000 displaced Palestinians in Gaza are facing floods.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib made statements regarding the situation in Gaza.
Lahbib said: “Natural disasters spare no one. In Gaza, as temperatures drop, around 795,000 displaced Palestinians are facing severe flooding as water fills their tents.”
Noting that humanitarian aid is waiting at the border, Lahbib added: “All vital humanitarian aid supplies are ready at the border. Israel must urgently allow aid to enter.”
