Lahbib: There are lives that must be saved
Kyiv, February 17 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that the situation in the east is extremely urgent and that a dramatic humanitarian crisis is unfolding, saying, “There are lives that must be saved.”
European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib announced that she has arrived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the first stop of her mission in the Great Lakes region.
Emphasizing that the absolute priority is to negotiate humanitarian access and the delivery of aid, Lahbib said, “The situation in the east is extremely urgent; a dramatic humanitarian crisis is unfolding. There are lives that must be saved.”
