Leyen: We fully support Ukraine
Brussels, August 7 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen discussed recent developments with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
President Leyen stated that she spoke with President Zelensky to assess recent developments.
She said they discussed the next steps toward a negotiated peace agreement, Ukraine’s EU membership process, and the country’s reconstruction.
“Europe’s stance is clear: we fully support Ukraine. We will continue to play an active role in ensuring a just and lasting peace,” she said.
