Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

French President Emmanuel Macron said rising oil prices are directly affecting the daily lives of the French people and commented on measures aimed at securing energy supplies.

Macron said that following his talks with the Iraqi prime minister this week, he also spoke with the Saudi crown prince and the emir of Qatar. He said restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which is strategically important for oil transportation, protecting partners’ energy infrastructure and securing production were among the priority issues in the talks.

Macron said they are working with partners in the coalition established to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that efforts are also underway to create alternative routes in order to reduce dependence on this strategic passage.

Macron said increasing alternative oil routes would reduce dependence and, by strengthening energy supply security, help ease pressure on prices.
