Macron: Terrorists wanted to destroy our freedoms and divide us
Paris, January 7 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron delivered a message of unity while commemorating the Islamist terror attacks of 11 years ago and their victims.
French President Macron said, “Eleven years ago, Islamist terrorism struck the Republic and plunged France into mourning. Terrorists targeting Charlie Hebdo, Hyper Cacher, and the police wanted to destroy our freedoms and divide us.”
Macron added, “We always think unitedly of the victims and their loved ones.”
