Montenegro PM Spajic: Germany provides open and strong support for our EU process
Berlin, December 18 (Hibya) – Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic discussed progress in the European Union (EU) integration process with Germany’s Minister for Europe, Gunter Krichbaum, in Berlin.
Montenegrin Prime Minister Spajic stated that trust in the EU accession process is built not through words but through tangible results, noting that Germany provides open and strong support for Montenegro’s progress in European integration.
Spajic said that during their meeting in Berlin with Germany’s Minister for Europe Gunter Krichbaum, they discussed the next steps of the process and emphasized the importance of resolute implementation of reforms for citizens’ quality of life.
It was noted that the parties agreed that the path pursued by Montenegro is the only way to move from the status of a negotiating country to the stage where the final details of membership are discussed. Spajic added that Germany’s support is extremely strong and was clearly expressed by Minister Krichbaum.
