Montenegro Prime Minister Spajic: No one will be able to endanger our European future
Podgorica, October 9 (Hibya) - Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said following an operation in which the administrator of the “Ribar” information network was detained that state institutions were fulfilling their duties against hybrid activities and destabilization attempts targeting the country’s European Union accession process.
Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said there were serious indications of hybrid activities and destabilization attempts in the country, adding that all possible links should be carefully examined in this context.
In a statement on his social media account, Spajic said they had previously warned that Montenegro’s European path was being accompanied by hybrid activities and destabilization attempts.
Spajic said hasty statements should be avoided, but naive conclusions should not be drawn either. He emphasized that every finding should be carefully examined and that links should be assessed within a broader framework.
Spajic said they would not share details on matters falling within the responsibility of the security services, adding that following the successful operation in which the administrator of the “Ribar” information network was detained, the institutions had fulfilled their duty and Montenegro was protecting its own interests.
Spajic said no one would be allowed to endanger the country’s European future.
