Mucunski: It is important for the EU accession process to be clear and predictable
Skopje, October 2 (Hibya) - North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timco Mucunski said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s visit to Skopje is a strong confirmation of his country’s European orientation and commitment to reforms.
North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timco Mucunski issued a statement regarding European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s visit to Skopje.
Mucunski said von der Leyen’s visit is an important indication of his country’s European orientation and commitment to reforms, stating, “Her visit is a strong confirmation of our European orientation, our commitment to reforms and our full alignment with the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy.”
Referring to the importance of the EU accession process, Mucunski said, “We reaffirmed the importance of a clear, credible and predictable accession process.”
Mucunski added that they expect to hold constructive talks focused on making progress in the European integration process.
