Trump: We had a constructive phone call with Putin
Washington, October 17 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump said that his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin was “very good and constructive.”
In his statement, Trump said that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will meet with his Russian counterpart soon, adding: “There will be a meeting soon. Our conversation was quite productive. I will meet with President Putin again soon for a final assessment.”
Trump emphasized that diplomatic contacts between the two countries are continuing and that the call was an important step in addressing the current international agenda.
