Hungarian Prime Minister Orban stated that the political movement under the PatriotsEU umbrella has gained significant momentum recently. Orban noted that the Patriots summit, to be held after preparatory talks, will take place for the first time with the participation of two prime ministers.

Orban said that with the return of former Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, the Patriots political family has “moved into a different weight class.” Noting that the alliance has risen to become the third-largest group in the European Parliament, Orban added that they are represented in the Council of the European Union by two prime ministers.

Recalling that Matteo Salvini is part of the government in Italy, Orban said they are the strongest political force in France, Austria and the Netherlands, while the preparation process continues in Spain and Portugal.

Describing the Patriots alliance as “the union of winning patriots,” Orban emphasized that they are ready to fight despite difficulties, in line with the goal of making Europe strong again.
