Pakistan Foreign Ministry issues statement on developments in Yemen
Islamabad, December 31 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the renewed escalation of violence in Yemen, reiterating its support for efforts to preserve the country’s unity, territorial integrity and achieve lasting peace.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement following the renewed escalation of violence in Yemen.
The statement emphasized Pakistan’s support for all efforts aimed at ensuring Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, as well as achieving lasting peace and stability in the country.
It noted Pakistan’s strong opposition to any unilateral actions by any Yemeni party that could further escalate the situation, undermine peace efforts and threaten regional stability.
In this context, regional efforts aimed at de-escalation and preserving peace were welcomed.
The statement also reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its continued commitment to the Kingdom’s security.
