Prime Minister Starmer: Employers Must Invest in Local Workforce
London, May 13 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement regarding the government’s new employment policies.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that employers wishing to bring in workers from abroad would have to pay higher wages and also document their investment in British workers.
Starmer said: “I stand with Britain’s youth. We expect employers to first consider the local workforce and to invest in developing the skills of British employees. This is a fair and right approach.”
