Fiala: The Czech Republic faces fundamental challenges
Prague, May 13 (Hibya) – Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated that the Czech Republic is facing fundamental challenges that will shape its future for decades to come.
Prime Minister Fiala emphasized that the Czech Republic is confronted with major challenges that will influence its long-term future.
He pointed out that the world around them is changing and that the country is facing the consequences of Russia’s aggressive policies, the rise of populism and extremism, and global economic uncertainty.
Fiala stressed that these elections are not just about staying in power for another four years, but about democracy, security, prosperity, and the values on which their society is built.
“In the coming years, the Czech Republic must continue with smart governance, support education, build highways, roads and railways, develop energy, and invest in modern sectors such as chips, nuclear energy, and artificial intelligence. The country also needs clear values, principles, and a pro-Western orientation to ensure the peace, prosperity, and security of its citizens.”
