EU Commission President von der Leyen: We are maintaining momentum in the EU-Caribbean partnership
Brussels, May 13 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley. Von der Leyen said that the EU-Caribbean partnership is maintaining its momentum.
President von der Leyen announced that she had met with Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.
Following her visit, von der Leyen noted that the momentum in the EU-Caribbean partnership continues, stating that the region is increasingly affected by natural disasters.
She added that the EU has increased its support through satellite and climate data: “See you at the EU–CELAC Summit in November!”
