Prague, May 13 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel stated that sport is not just about performance and medals, saying, "Above all, it is a path to health."

Pavel said that sport is, above all, a path to health: “At the National Conference on Promoting Sport and Exercise, we discussed how the lifestyle of Czechs has changed in today’s world. We agreed that we must start from where habits are formed — with children.”
He noted that not everyone has to be a top-level athlete: “But if they enjoy movement, we all win.”
