Rutte: Dutch support for Ukraine is welcome
Brussels, August 4 – (Hibya) NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said he welcomed the Netherlands’ funding of the first U.S. military equipment package for Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Rutte described the Dutch funding of the first U.S. military equipment package for Ukraine, under NATO’s Prioritized Ukraine Needs List initiative, as “a great development.”
Rutte said, “I appreciate the efforts of allies to provide the urgently needed equipment so Ukraine can defend itself against Russian aggression.”
He also stated that he expects important announcements from other allies soon.
