Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar hosted Togolese Foreign Minister Robert Dussey in Jerusalem.

Thanking Togo for its support, Saar said: “We are pleased to host my Togolese counterpart Robert Dussey in Jerusalem. After October 7, I thanked him for the friendship and Togo’s support. We discussed the shared terrorist threat facing West Africa and the Middle East and ways to combat it.”

Expressing concerns about Iran’s nuclear program as well, Saar stated: “I said that the world’s most dangerous regime, Iran, must not obtain the world’s most dangerous weapon, the nuclear bomb. We will further strengthen our bilateral relations with Togo.”
