Saidov receives credentials of Gambia's Ambassador Conteh
Tashkent, July 27 (Hibya) - Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the credentials of Alkali Fanka Conteh, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of The Gambia to Uzbekistan.

Saidov stated that there is considerable untapped potential for cooperation with The Gambia, noting that they are particularly focused on strengthening relations in the fields of trade and the economy.
Saidov said: "Uzbekistan attaches special importance to expanding mutually beneficial relations with African countries. In this context, we see significant untapped potential for cooperation with The Gambia."
Emphasizing that special importance was attached to establishing trade and economic ties during the meeting, Saidov expressed confidence that Ambassador Conteh's term of office would contribute to further strengthening relations between the two countries through concrete and practical steps.
