Sanchez: The territorial integrity of all states must be respected
Madrid, January 5 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez reiterated his commitment to United Nations values, stressing that protecting the sovereign rights of states is a fundamental principle.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez made statements regarding global crisis regions and the principles of international law.
Sanchez emphasized that the right of states to independence must be defended under all circumstances.
Referring to the universality of international law, Sanchez said: “The sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states must be respected; this is a non-negotiable principle — from Ukraine to Gaza, including Venezuela.”
Sharing Spain’s diplomatic stance and messages of solidarity, Sanchez concluded: “Spain will always remain actively committed to the United Nations and will stand in full solidarity with the peoples of Denmark and Greenland.”
