Sybiha: I am grateful to Estonia for its energy support
Kyiv, February 6 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said he is grateful for Estonia’s 2 million euro contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, the 10 powerful generators provided during this visit, and the 408,000 euros in energy support raised by Estonian NGOs and civil society.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha expressed his satisfaction at hosting Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna in Kyiv.
Noting that the meeting focused on security issues, the situation in the energy sector, joint efforts to increase pressure on the aggressor, countering the shadow fleet, and advancing accountability for the crime of aggression, Sybiha stated:
“I am grateful for Estonia’s 2 million euro contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, the 10 powerful generators provided during this visit, and the 408,000 euros in energy support raised by Estonian NGOs and civil society. These are timely and tangible contributions to strengthening our resilience. I sincerely thank Estonia for its recovery efforts in the Zhytomyr region.”
Sybiha added that Ukraine highly values Estonia’s assumption of the chairmanship of the Nordic-Baltic Eight.
