Trump: No more oil or money will go to Cuba
Washington, January 11 (Hibya) – United States President Donald Trump announced that the oil and financial resources Cuba receives from Venezuela will be completely cut off.
U.S. President Donald Trump said that Cuba had survived for many years thanks to oil and financial support provided by Venezuela, while in return offering security services to the governments there.
Emphasizing that this structure ended after last week’s attack, Trump said: “In the U.S. attack over the past weeks, many of these Cubans were killed, and Venezuela no longer needs protection from the thugs and extortionists who held it hostage for years. Venezuela is now protected by the United States of America, which has by far the most powerful military in the world, and we will protect it.”
Trump stressed that the flow of resources to Cuba would be completely stopped, adding: “I strongly advise them to make a deal before it is too late.”
