Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said he met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos.

Sybiha noted that the talks focused on advancing Ukraine’s EU membership, deepening bilateral cooperation, strengthening defense cooperation, and enhancing Ukraine’s energy resilience. He added that they also exchanged views on joint peace efforts and their coordination during Cyprus’ EU Council Presidency.

Sybiha also stated: “I am grateful to my colleague for confirming that support for Ukraine and efforts to end the war will be among the priorities of Cyprus’ EU Presidency.”
